The hidden significance of a barrel roll.
The barrel roll.
An awesome video on youtube that I stumbled upon. Though I have honestly wondered the reason behind the barrel roll...
Why is it that barrel rolling has so much clout? While it does enable you to deflect enemy fire, I don't believe this is the only reason for its popularity.
Any idea FireFoxgirl? Any other forum members may also answer...it's just that there's only two of us.

I don't know it's importance but it must make Fox and the other team mates really dizzy! And why does Peppy have to shout "DO A BARREL ROLL!" every five minutes?

Perhaps Nintendo believed that many of the people who would play ST64 would have "short term memory loss". Though that doesn't sound like a possible idea...
At least there is a bit of variety, "Use the boost to get through!" and "Do a loop!" or "Use the brake!"
Here's another idea, maybe Fox has A.D.D.?
